Today at school during lunch time a wonderful artists called Filipe tohi came to tamaki school. He showed as minnie wonderful things that also inspired me. For eg he showed as what he made and he also talked about his work that he did in Tonga,Samoa,Cook Island and minnie other cultures.
And then after filipe tohi said you all think it's just a mat it can also be in different shapes, then we all said can it be in a circle shape too. Filipe tohi said yes.
When Filipe tohi said in the old days he said people use two tied ribbons together with different patterns.Filipe tohi said I got into art because of my beautiful wonderful auntie.
