I really enjoyed this haiku activity as I love to read poetry and I think haikus are a very fun form of poetry with their syllable rules and simplicity.
I think you did a great job writing your haiku, you follow the syllable rules of 5, 7, 5 and I like the image you found, it sums up your poem about the rising sun well and the image makes me think about Lion King the movie.
Keep up the great work and I hope to see more of your posts over the summer.
